A *SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH* is in effect for all of VT and northern NY until 10 PM.
A very active weather pattern continues for the North Country.
A frontal boundry will continue to push north of our region overnight tonight, allowing some warmer and more humid air across northern New York, and northern New England.
We can expect more showers and possibly strong thunderstorms to develop tonight, mainly before 10PM.
Thursday, a slow moving cold front will be moving east from the Great Lakes, bringing a more widespread rain with thunderstorms through the day and overnight Thursday night. Look for another 1-2" of additional rain, there could be some heavy downpours which could lead to some flooding problems.
The cold front will still be just to our east on Friday, allowing some much cooler air across the area with more rain showers. Highs will only be in the 50s.
Saturday, more showers are likely and it will still be chilly. There will still be the chance for some showers on Sunday before drier and warmer weather arrives early next week.
