New York State Police are looking into whether a bank robbery in Tupper Lake was the work of a serial robber.
A tall, white man with a thin build held up the Community Bank at gunpoint Friday afternoon. The robber made off with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police say they have received numerous tips but no arrests have been made.
Police are looking into whether the suspect in this case is responsible for a number of unsolved bank robberies in New York and Vermont. In particular, there have been four bank robberies in the Canton area in the past three years.
