The President of Plattsburgh State University says job cuts are coming.
The school is dealing with a nearly $6 million budget deficit. President John Ettling says due to declining funding from the Paterson Administration, the staff at the school will have to be reduced. He did not know how many jobs that may entail or when it will happen. Ettling says a number of programs will also be cut. He said the school took cost cutting measures last year, including temporary layoffs and pay freezes for management, but it wasn't enough.
