BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - About 400 graduates of Champlain College got advice Saturday from a leader who arrived on campus at the same time they did.
College President David Finney took office in 2005, not long before the class of 2009 showed up as freshmen. He was the keynote speaker at Saturday's graduation ceremony.
Sterling College in Craftsbury Common also celebrated commencement Saturday, awarding 18 degrees. Norwich University was holding its commencement ceremony Sunday, with Martha Raddatz of ABC News delivering the commencement address.
