TROY, N.H. (AP) - Police in Troy, N.H., say a13-year-old girl home sick from school awakened to find a burglar in her home, who was startled and fled.
WMUR reported the girl called her mother shortly after the encounter about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, who then ran into police on her way home.
Police had received reports of break-ins in that area at about 5:30 p.m., after residents returned home from work.
Investigators found forced entry and damage to three homes. Nothing appeared to be taken from all three homes.
