A former nurse's aide is accused of beating an 88-year-old woman in a nursing home, breaking her collarbone.
Investigators say last October, John Ette, 42, of Tupper Lake, hit, grabbed and pushed the bedridden woman at the Adirondack Medical Center's Mercy Nursing Home. Ette was fired.
If convicted, he faces up to four years in jail.
