A woman from Berlin, N.H., was killed Monday morning in a motorcycle crash.
Donald and Nancy Hood were riding on Route 16 in Green's Grant just outside Gorham, when Donald Hood lost control of his bike. His wife thrown and suffered severe injuries. She died before reaching the hospital.
Donald Hood is undergoing treatment at Dartmouth-Hitchcock for serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Police say speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in that crash.
