Vermont Couple Accused of Pimping Out Child

Burlington, Vermont - June 16, 2009

Trial started Tuesday for a couple accused of subjecting a young girl to sexual assaults with several adult men. Prosecutors say Stacey Parnitzke, 42, arranged the liaisons in return for drugs and alcohol. Police say there is evidence the child was drugged and forced to watch porn films during the assaults. Parnitzke's husband Shane Casey is a co-defendant. He and Parnitzke claim the girl invented the entire story. The trial is expected to go to the jury on Friday.
