HANOVER, N.H. (AP) - Dartmouth College welcomes its new president on Wednesday.
It's the first day in office for Jim Yong Kim and he's getting an old-fashioned ice cream welcome on the Dartmouth Green.
The afternoon event is hosted by students, including the Student Assembly, 2011 Class Council and Dartmouth Graduate Senate.
The event on the Green will be the centerpiece of welcome activities for Kim on Wednesday and Thursday.
