Concord, New Hampshire - July 23, 2009
The New Hampshire Attorney General's office says it has no plans to reopen investigation surrounding the death of a boy in the White Mountains six years ago.
Patric McCarthy, 10, was found dead on Loon Mountain after getting lost. An autopsy concluded he died of hypothermia. But his family has long believed he was murdered.
Thursday, their lawyer said he has found a number of medical experts who have concluded the boy was suffocated.
The N.H. Attorney General's Office says the FBI and state and federal prosecutors have been reviewing the case for the past few years and still have not found any evidence of foul play and the case will remain closed unless new evidence surfaces.
