A fifth-generation farm has been named Vermont Dairy Farm of the Year.
The Richardson family has a 450-acre operation on a hillside in Hartland.
The University of Vermont Extension Service says the Richardsons consistently produce top quality milk. The Richardsons were also credited for their good herd management, selective breeding, quality feed, and attention to detail.
