Mendon, Vermont - August 4, 2009
A 33-year-old Rutland man pleaded innocent to multiple charges after police say they caught him red handed trying to rob a Mendon pub.
Police say they watched on Saturday as Dennis Dunn allegedly crawled out of a window at Piper's Pub on Route 4. Police then set up a perimeter around the building and continued to watch as Dunn reportedly piled goods outside the window. They say he ran away after seeing police and was quickly arrested.
Dunn's been charged with felony burglary and unlawful mischief.
