Flanagan Rethinking Run for Lt. Gov.

Chittenden County Senator Ed Flanagan says he is rethinking his run for lieutenant governor.

Last week an allegation surfaced against the senator, accusing him of engaging in a sex act at the YMCA in Burlington. The allegation was made by a former officer in the Burlington Progressive Party. There is no police investigation but the Y says it's looking into the claim.

Flanagan strongly denies any wrongdoing. He says he will not give up his Senate seat but tells the Free Press he is now unsure about running for lt. governor.
