A head-on collision in Bennington claimed a man's life.
Police say Harry Bishop, 70, of Bennington, collided with a pickup truck on Route 9 around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Police say Bishop suddenly swerved across the center line and into oncoming traffic. Bishop died at the scene, the driver of the pickup was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
