A pair of mountain rescues in our region Thursday night.
On Camel's Hump in central Vermont, a 65-year-old woman from Londonderry broke her leg in a fall on the Long Trail south of the summit.
Rescuers reached her at about 7:00 Thursday night -- and a team of 30 people from six different agencies helped carry her off the mountain.
This was the 6th mountain rescue on Camel's Hump this summer.
Also, a Massachusetts man had to be rescued on Mount Washington.
37-year old Joseph Hattabaugh broke his leg yesterday hiking down the Tuckerman's Ravine trail. He was carried down by rescue crews and members of his party. He told Fish and Game he was going to get himself to the hospital and didn't want an ambulance.
