MANORTON, N.Y. (AP) - A firefighter in the Hudson Valley faces charges of calling in false alarms.
The 21-year-old was a volunteer with a fire company in Elizaville, N.Y. He was arrested Thursday by state police on charges that he made three false reports of fires in July and August.
Police say he phoned in the bogus fire reports using a false name.
