Newport, Vermont - August 21, 2009

Lucier was arrested Tuesday night when he crashed his truck in Richford shortly after he allegedly hit the women as they walked along North Jay Road in North Troy. Bethany McAlister, 21, of Hyde Park, was killed. Alyssa Burns, 17, of Newport, suffered broken bones. Police say Lucier was drunk.
