
Ludlow, Vermont - August 27, 2009
Five teenagers are facing arson charges after they allegedly used someone else's home as a party spot and ended up burning it down. It happened on May 27 in Ludlow. Firefighters found the home on Lacava Lane engulfed in flames and could not save it.
Investigators now say the blaze started in a portable fire pit on the home's deck. Police say five 17-year-olds were using the home without permission for a party. The teens who face charges are Lawson Austin, Nate Gritman, Nicholas Sweet, Elizebeth Plude, Dylan Stinson. Lawson, Gritman and Sweet were cited into court for October 6. Stinson and Plude are out of state and will be cited into court at a later date.
