Rutland, Vermont - August 31, 2009

Rutland police have made one arrest in connection with a 12-hour armed robbery spree.

The Cumberland Farms and Mac's convenience stores were robbed within two hours of each other on Monday morning. Those robberies are on the heels of a stick up at the Shell Short Stop last night on Route 4 in Rutland Town.

18-year-old Brennan Bigelow has been charged with robbing Mac's Market. He will be arraigned tomorrow on robbery charges. Additional charges are pending.
