CASTLETON, VT - At Castleton State not only is it the season opener but program opener for the Spartan Football team. Kick-off is set for 1:00pm and the opponent is another first-year program, Anna Maria. Coach Rich Alercio and company are looking to open brand new Spartan Stadium in style. Game one is already a sellout. Castleton will play its inaugural season in the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference
