Vt. State Police are investigating a suspicious death in Clarendon.
A 67-year-old man from Middlebury was found dead in the woods off the Gorge Road late Friday afternoon. Police say he was about 250 feet from the road.
Police did not release the man's identity pending notification of his next of kin.
The body was sent to the medical examiner for an autopsy.
