Man Held for Weekend Shooting

Claremont, New Hampshire - September 14, 2009

A Claremont man faces multiple charges for firing a shotgun downtown this weekend.

Police say Anthony Jarvis shot at an occupied pickup truck. No one was hurt. The 30-year-old is being held on $100,000. bail.

It turns out Jarvis's father, who has the same name, was killed by police in Charlestown during a standoff with a SWAT team last year.
