Essex County, New York - September 16, 2009

A girls' basketball coach in Essex County, N.Y., has been indicted on charges she had sex with an underage boy.

Joey Strong, 35, is charged with rape, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawfully dealing with a child. She pleaded not guilty.

Strong was arrested in April for allegedly providing alcohol to and having sex with a 16-year-old boy. At the time of her arrest she was a veteran coach of Holy Name School's girls basketball team in Ausable Forks.
