Lincoln, New Hampshire - September 21, 2009
Hikers better do their homework before hitting the trail in Lincoln, New Hampshire.
A 180-foot suspension bridge is being dismantled today because it is unsafe. The bridge is about five and a half miles from the Kancamagus Highway.
Forest officials say a wilderness trail on the east and south side of the Pemigewasset River will stay open, and there is a new section of trail that bypasses the bridge site.
