Ray Brook, New York - October 1, 2009
It's bear hunting season in New York, but not everyone is following the rules.
State environmental conservation officers have investigated seven poaching incidents in the last two weeks, including two in our region.
Two men were caught in Chester, N.Y., for starting the hunt the night before the season began and using a spotlight.
Two other men were arrested in Corinth, N.Y., for using a bait pile to lure animals.
