A Bennington manufacturing company is planning a major expansion.
Plasan North America has purchased the industrial site next to it's current 40,000 square foot facility.
The company manufactures armor for military vehicles, and was recently awarded a contract by the Department of Defense to build 4,400 ATV's that will allow troops to travel through mountainous terrain in Afghanistan.
Additional space is needed to make the vehicles.
Those contracts are worth more than $2 billion dollars.
