Rehearsing for a Scary Halloween Show

South Burlington, Vermont - October 11, 2009

It's definitely one of the spookiest haunted houses you'll find anywhere.

It's called Nightmare Vermont, an indoor interactive haunted house. It features eight-foot tall cyborg monsters, who practiced for a full show coming up on the week of Halloween. It has 50 people in the cast and was organized by the South Burlington Rotary Club.

Show organizer Jana Beagley said, "We have bashed holes in the walls. We have blood slimed walls as you can probably see. We have built a maze in the racquetball courts. We have torn out ceilings and we've arranged lockers and put nasty things in them. It's going to be a great time."

The show is being put on at the now-vacant Olympiad building on Eastwood Drive. The building is due to be torn down after Halloween.
