Burlington, Vermont - October 19, 2009

Are you looking for a job?

Every Monday night we'll highlight a few companies that are hiring, tell you what positions are available, and have the latest job fairs across the region, in our segment called Help Wanted.

A new company in Milton, called AirBoss Defense, is looking for twelve people. These are mostly manufacturing jobs. The company makes rubber-based protective gear.

Dealer-dot-com in Burlington needs 15 employees. The software development and marketing company is looking for web designers, project managers, sales reps and more.

Smugglers Notch Ski Resort has up to 200 openings. These are seasonal jobs and include daycare providers, ski instructors, lift operators, maintenance workers and custodians. This is a mix of part time and full time work.

And on Friday, a job fair will be held in Rutland, a region with the highest unemployment rate in the state. It will be held at Rutland High School from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
