A state representative in Sullivan County, New Hampshire is giving up his seat.
Republican Tony Maiola of Newport is resigning for health reasons. Last year, he ousted an incumbent Democrat from the seat.
But Maiola missed a lot of votes at the statehouse this spring due to health problems.
