The burned out Saputo Cheese factory in Hinesburg is for sale.
A fire last year forced the facility to close.
Saputo refuses to sell the factory to another milk processor. The price for the property is $1.4 million. Hinesburg changed zoning regulations to allow innovative uses at the site and there's an economic development committee working to get a new company and new jobs to move to town.
