NH AG says murder suicide in Londonderry

Associated Press - October 23, 2009 7:05 AM ET

LONDONDERRY, N.H. (AP) - Authorities say a Londonderry woman and her husband are dead after what investigators are calling a murder suicide.

The New Hampshire attorney general's office says that on Wednesday evening Londonderry police were called to a home where they found 46-year-old Suzanne Vernet unconscious and severely injured. She was taken to a Boston hospital where she died Thursday.

Two children at the home were not physically injured.

Police began searching for 48-year-old Binh Vernet. His car was later found in Rehoboth, Mass. His body was found nearby. Police say he apparently committed suicide.

Officials did not say what weapons, if any, were used in the killings.
