Truck Drivers Pleads Guilty in Triple Fatal Crash

Bennington, Vermont - October 28, 2009

A New Jersey truck driver involved in a track accident that killed three people has accepted a plea deal.

42-year-old Kenneth Middlebusher pleaded guilty to a felony charge of grossly negligent operation resulting in death. Prosecutors will seek at least one year in jail.

Police say Middlebusher was driving a tractor-trailer on Route 9 in Woodford in April of last year when he overturned on a sharp, downhill curve. The truck hit two cars in the opposite lane, killing three people.
