Londonderry, Vermont - November 5, 2009
There is another name to add to the possible candidates for governor of Vermont. Former state lawmaker Mike Bernhardt of Londonderry tells WCAX News he is seriously considering a run. The former Republican minority leader in the Vermont House would not challenge Brian Dubie in a GOP primary. Bernhardt says if he runs, he will run as an independent.
Several Democrats have already announced they want to replace Republican Gov. Jim Douglas, who is not seeking re-election.
