Ortloff Sentencing Delayed Again

Albany, New York - November 5, 2009

The sentencing of former Plattsburgh Assemblyman Chris Ortloff has been delayed again.

Ortloff has been in federal custody since last April. He pleaded guilty to trying to meet with two preteen sisters for sex.

Ortloff was due to appear in court next week to face a minimum ten-year sentence. But the hearing was canceled and federal prosecutors now say the sentencing won't happen until next year.
