Two college students were saved from spending a cold night Saturday on Camels Hump.
The pair had set up camp just below the summit. Officials say the 18-year-olds weren't prepared for the plunging temperatures and were caught off guard by how early it gets dark. They were unable to make a campfire or stay warm because of their wet clothing. They also didn't have a working flashlight. They called 911 and crews reached them around midnight. Neither was injured. This is the eighth rescue on Camels Hump this season. WCAX News
