North Country Assemblywoman Dede Scozzafava is cutting some ties with state Republicans.
Just before last week's special election, Scozzafava dropped out of the Congressional race and backed Democrat Bill Owens, who went on to win. Yesterday, following a discussion with the Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb, Scozzafava resigned her position as Minority Leader Pro Tem. Kolb says Scozzafava's resignation doesn't mean she's in danger of being kicked out of the GOP. WCAX News
