A Windham County man admitted today he killed his 2-month-old daughter.
23-year-old James Petrin of Brattleboro pleaded guilty to manslaughter. He was originally charged with second-degree murder.
Police say two years ago, he was watching his daughter Trisha when she got fussy and shook her. The baby died from blunt force trauma to the head and severe internal injuries.
Petrin will spend the next 8 to 15 years in prison.
