2 Dead in Adirondack Plane Crash

Newcomb, New York - November 17, 2009

Two men are dead after their small plane crashed in the Adirondacks.

Authorities say the Piper Cherokee went down near Santanoni Mountain in the sparsely populated town of Newcomb. The plane took off in Saratoga on Sunday but wasn't reported missing until Monday evening. The wreckage was spotted from the air Tuesday morning.

The pilot has been identified as Dan Wills, 48, of North Bangor. His passenger was identified as Ronald Rouselles, 66, of Malone.
