No Jail Time in Deadly Crash

Plattsburgh, New York - November 18, 2009

A northern New York man will not go to jail for killing his friend in a car crash.

Andrew Bodah, 20, of West Chazy, pleaded guilty to negligent homicide. A judge placed him on probation for five years.

Bodah was speeding on Stetson Road in Chazy last May when he crashed. Victor Pier, 20, of Morrisonville, died at the scene.
