RUTLAND, Vt. (AP) - A 58-year-old Rutland man convicted of child pornography is going to federal prison for 12 years and losing his home and other assets.
The Rutland Herald says Allan Patrick was sentenced in federal court on Wednesday.
Court records say Patrick pleaded guilty in August to charges he videotaped in his home children as young as 8 performing sexual acts.
He agreed to forfeit his home and retirement accounts to pay $142,500 to five victims.
In court on Wednesday, a grandmother of one of the victims said the children trusted Patrick and he violated that trust.
During the hearing Patrick apologized to his victims.
