CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - The New Hampshire Lottery Commission has approved the sale of Mega Millions tickets.
The panel on Wednesday unanimously voted to add the multistate lottery game.
Lottery officials say in the past states could sell Powerball or Mega Millions but not both. Now states are left to decide whether to sell them both.
Officials hope to have the new game available in New Hampshire by the end of January.
The largest Mega Million jackpot was $370 million in March 2007.
