DELANSON, N.Y. (AP) - State police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found inside a burned-out vehicle parked in a garage at an upstate New York home.
Police say an explosion and fire was reported shortly after 9 p.m. in the Schenectady (skeh-NEHK'-ta-dee) County village of Delanson (duh-LAN'-suhn), 20 miles northwest of Albany.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze that destroyed the four-car garage and located the body inside a pickup truck.
Investigators combed through the fire scene Sunday, but authorities haven't released details on a possible cause. An autopsy was scheduled for Sunday but no information on its outcome was available Monday morning.
The man's name hasn't been released.
