COLONIE, N.Y. (AP) - A pickup truck burst into flames in an Albany-area driveway, killing the man inside.
Police say a man was inside his truck in his driveway in suburban Colonie (kah-luh-NEE') when it became engulfed in flames Wednesday morning.
Neighbors who called 911 just after 7 a.m. reported hearing a loud explosion. But police at the scene say it appeared that the vehicle was set on fire and that there was no explosion.
Police say a woman who lived in the house and neighbors were unable to pull the unidentified victim from the burning truck.
Police are still investigating.
