AMITYVILLE, N.Y. (AP) - Police say a teenager has been critically wounded in a shooting at a Long Island nightclub.
Police say 17-year-old Boyd Holland of Wyandanch (WINE'-danch) was shot in the torso, arm and leg at El Rodeo in Amityville early Friday morning. The shooting happened about 4:15 a.m.
Holland was taken to a local hospital for treatment. He's in critical condition.
A man who answered the phone Friday night at the club in suburban New York said he had no comment and directed all questions to police.
