Prison Escapee Back Behind Bars

Amherst, New Hampshire - November 30, 2009

Robert Hale is back in custody.

The Claremont man busted out of the Sullivan County Jail earlier this month where he was being held on armed robbery charges. Authorities say Hale carved a hole in his cell's ceiling with a piece of construction debris and patched it up with toothpaste until he made a run for it.

He was found today in Amherst, New Hampshire.
