Driver in double-fatal crash faces more charges

Plattsburgh, New York - December 18, 2009

A man from Northern New York is facing more charges stemming from a double-fatal accident in Plattsburgh.

Aaron Trombley, 32, of Morrisonville, was originally charged with drugged driving and reckless driving. Back in October police say Trombley crossed the centerline on the Military Turnpike and hit an oncoming car. Two passengers in that car, Ronald Lee, 69, of West Chazy, and Robert Wood, 44, of Altona, were killed.

Friday, Trombley was charged with two counts of vehicular manslaughter and two counts of negligent homicide.
