Pavone found competent for trial

Plattsburgh, New York - February 27, 2010

A judge has declared the Plattsburgh man accused of a double murder competent for trial.

52-year-old Tony Pavone is accused of gunning down his ex-girlfriend Patricia Howard and her new boyfriend Timothy Carter at Carter's home in Dannemora earlier this month.

Pavone is charged with two counts of second-degree murder.
