A man who helped design Taiwan's health care system is now hoping to do the same for Vermont.
The Vermont Health Care Reform Commission has chosen Dr. William Hsiao to help create three options for redesigning the state's health care system. The models will include a public health insurance option and a single-payer system. Hsaio's suggestions will be passed on to lawmakers.
The Harvard University professor was chosen from three finalists.
