One of the biggest stars in country music has a new collaborator from Vermont.
Waitsfield rocker Grace Potter sings a duet with Kenny Chesney on his new album, which hits stores tomorrow. Potter says she's new to country music, but working in the studio with Chesney turned her into a big fan.
"Him collaborating with someone like me is risky business," Potter told Channel 3 News. "Who the heck is this girl from Vermont, and why should she be on his record, you know? So it was a very cool exploration into different types of music, different styles, but how they can bond and make something even better."
The song featuring Potter is called "You and Tequila." It's off the new Kenny Chesney CD, "Hemmingway's Whiskey."
