The Morrisville woman charged this week with murdering her infant grandson, is now under investigation in connection with the death of her parents.
53-year-old Pamela Raymond pleaded not guilty Monday to a second degree murder charge. Prosecutors say she gave her 4-month-old grandson a lethal dose of a prescription anti-depressant.
In court papers, a friend of Raymond's described how she took care of her elderly parents in her home prior to their deaths in 2008. She was reportedly in charge of feeding them and giving them their medications.
The state's attorney says Morristown Police are now investigating their deaths to see if there is any indication of foul play. Raymond was a registered nurse but lost her license twice, including in 1996 due to diverting medications from patients for improper use.
